UK Power Network Expands Fleet

UK Power Networks has purchased a new fleet of 80 Cat® machines, including 50 Cat 301.4 and 30 Cat 301.7 Excavators, all from Cat Compact Dealer, Versatile.

The electricity distribution company UK Power Networks, which delivers electricity across the South East, East and London, has moved into the final phase of a four-year programme, to in-source groundwork operations as part of its drive to ensure reliability of supply for 8 million homes and businesses. It will now own and manage its entire fleet of plant equipment under its Powercare business.
