Power Solutions for the Governmental Sector

Finning provides a comprehensive portfolio of marine propulsion packages, main generator sets and emergency power packages for the governmental sector, offering low lifetime ownership costs with high reliability.

Cat® and MaK engines supplied by Finning can be found delivering high fuel efficiency and durability in vessels operating in both UK waters and overseas, including:

We work with naval architects and boat builders to develop standard propulsion packages for new build vessels, as well as engineering bespoke power systems for vessel upgrades and repowers – both here in the UK and for naval vessels in overseas territories, including Brazil, Peru and Canada to name a few.

The power solution is only part of the overall package and we also provide a range of support options to ensure every engine runs at peak performance. Working with each vessel’s maintenance crew, we can offer a range of options from planned, preventative maintenance to our integrated logistics support packages. These can include the supply of genuine Cat and MaK spare parts, routine fluid analysis and support for existing OEM engines, providing a single point of contact for all engine maintenance requirements.
