Greg Palaschuk, Chief Financial Officer at Finning International, has been honoured as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. The award is an annual recognition of the exceptional achievements of 40 outstanding Canadians under the age of 40 featured in BNN Bloomberg and the National Post.

Greg joined with Finning International as vice-president of treasury in 2014 and led the acquisition of Kramer Ltd. in Saskatchewan. In 2016, he moved to the UK to take on a new role as the finance director. Greg returned to Canada in 2018 as senior vice-president of commercial and financial performance management. In 2020, Greg was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of Finning International and is responsible for finance, tax, treasury, investor relations, strategic planning, business development and enterprise risk management.
Before Finning, Greg worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. as vice president of natural resources investment banking in Calgary and New York.
Outside of Finning, Greg serves on the Board of Directors of Kids Up Front Edmonton and the Board of Governors for the Business Council of British Columbia. Greg lives in North Vancouver with his wife Laura and three sons, and is an avid golfer and ice hockey player.
Greg was selected from over 900 nominees by an independent advisory board of 25 leaders across Canada. Nominations are evaluated on four key criteria including vision and innovation, leadership, impact and influence, and social responsibility. Greg joins prominent CEOs, CFOs, entrepreneurs, and industry and community leaders in the Top 40 Under 40 alumni.
