COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Length: 1 x 8-hour day
Target Audience: Heavy Equipment Technicians (HET), Technical Communicators (TC), Product Reliability Engineers/Managers

This course is an Introduction & Overview of the Technician Toolbox program on Windows 10/11 which replaces VIMSpc 2015A.

Participants need to bring the following to class: Laptop

PREREQUISITES

Recommended completion of Product Link (PL6xx-7xx) for technicians

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Install and sign into TT (Technician Toolbox)
  • Understand the differences between VIMSpc and TT
  • Comprehend the different settings and configuration methods available in TT
  • Correctly set up tool and hook up to a VIMS machine to download VIMS files
  • Create widgets and make reports
  • Note where VIMS Raw Data Files are stored locally on the technicians laptop
  • Basic data interpretation to better troubleshoot on machine
