Today 2nd March 2016 – In a further move into the earthworks sector, Hargreaves Services plc has completed the purchase of certain assets from C J Pryor (Contracts) Limited and C J Pryor (Plant).
Both businesses were briefly placed in administration on 1st March 2016, with reports from www.constructionenquirer.com confirming that shortly after, Hargreaves had purchased certain assets in a “pre-pack”deal.
Confirmed this afternoon by Finning News, who contacted Hargreaves, the asset purchases will further strengthen the businesses move into the earthworks market, following its recent £11.85m purchase of CA Blackwell.
