Community Investment Guidelines

Finning takes great pride in the contributions we make to our communities and dedicates a lot of time and energy to selecting the programs and investments that make our communities a better place to live and work. We receive a large number of requests each year and we try to support as many organizations as possible, aligned with our community investment guidelines and budget.

Community Investment Priorities

All requests must be from a registered non-profit agency and correspond to one of the following four categories.

  • Support to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) organizations that provide education outreach to youth and post-secondary students
  • Support for Indigenous outreach and education
  • Support of women and girls
  • Support for communities at risk, typically underserved communities in rural, remote areas that are at an economic, environmental and social disadvantage

Other Considerations:

  • If the request supports the geographic area where we live and work
  • Number of Finning employees involved or potential for participation

If you meet the above criteria and eligibility guidelines, please submit your request:
