Tim Ferwerda was appointed president of Finning Canada in January 2025. Before assuming this role, Ferwerda served as managing director of Finning UK and Ireland in August 2021. Before that, he was director of sales, marketing and distribution for Finning UK and Ireland. During his career with Finning, Ferwerda led the UK and Ireland operations to capture large infrastructure opportunities, optimized the global digital strategy, and built greater resiliency into the UK and Ireland operations. Prior to joining Finning, Ferwerda worked for Pilkington (NSG Group), one of the world's largest glass manufacturers, for 19 years. He held progressively senior leadership roles within sales and marketing, supply chain, and general management in their automotive business's original equipment and aftermarket lines. Ferwerda holds a master's degree in economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
